Fiddler on the roof showcases through song and dance the story of Reb Tevye, a Jewish milkman and father who has to discover how to live in a increasingly hostile culture. Tevye struggles to find good husbands for his daughters, especially as the traditions he has followed all his life seem now to old for the newest generation.
