Fourteen year old Calvin Cambridge wants nothing more than than to play basketball, but it’s a hard life in the Chesterfield Group Home where he lives. Everything flips upside down when Calvin discovers some basketball sneakers. He recognizes something is special about the shoes and his suspicions are confirmed when he finds the initials M.J. on them. After winning a an in-game contest Calvin goes one on one with a star player from the Los Angeles Knights. He is surprised when the shoes make him play like Mike.
