Fiddler on the roof showcases through song and dance the story of Reb Tevye, a Jewish milkman and father who has to discover how to live in a increasingly hostile culture. Tevye struggles to find good husbands for his daughters, especially as the traditions he has followed all his life seem now to old for the newest generation.
Fiddler on the roof is most well known for its classic songs many of which have found an immortal place in popular culture including Tradition, Matchmaker Matchmaker, If I were a Rich Man, Sabbath Prayer, and more.
